I have written a song after seeing these pics online a few years ago.The images just stayed in my head.I actually had used one for my screen saver and just kept on,in lieu of them wanting to use 60’s era sounding music.

wow im so excited to see how this turns out, she reminds me of a combination of sleeping beauty and giselle from enchanted. Im excited I wish i could work on this movie, i’ve always wanted to work for disney.

I missed the Princess & the Pea, too. It doesn’t have the quintessential grimness (ha!) of most Hans C. Andersen tales.

One of my favorites. When I was a kid, my parents had a complete Grimm’s, with some pretty creepy illos. I must have read them all a couple of dozen times. The scene with Jorinda turning into a bird _right in the middle of singing_ read like something out of a horror film to me–it was, I guess, the literary equivalent of the nightmarish scene in Disney’s Pinocchio where Lampwick turns into a donkey.
