I have written a song after seeing these pics online a few years ago.The images just stayed in my head.I actually had used one for my screen saver and just kept on,in lieu of them wanting to use 60's era sounding music.

Princess In The Castle',It's called"
It's on my home page.I hope you enjoy as i have enjoyed Mr Keane's Art.

Got here looking for any new books by Gregory Mauigre.
The road is of yellow bricks.
I'd love to talk to Glinda, Yackle or the Tin Man (Nick Chopper), see their own personal views on Elphaba, on how she used to be. Also, if I had a chance, Id like to meet The Wizard.

I missed the Princess & the Pea, too. It doesn't have the quintessential grimness (ha!) of most Hans C. Andersen tales.

One of my favorites. When I was a kid, my parents had a complete Grimm's, with some pretty creepy illos. I must have read them all a couple of dozen times. The scene with Jorinda turning into a bird _right in the middle of singing_ read like something out of a horror film to me--it was, I guess, the literary equivalent of the nightmarish scene in Disney's Pinocchio where Lampwick turns into a donkey.

I've read several volumes of the collected fables, and I like the stories and art very much. One of the characters now has his own series, Jack of Fables.

Once Upon a Time?
Score: 93% (14 out of 15)

I misidentified "The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs" as a Grimm tale. Drat.
